Privacy policy

This Privacy Policy explains how MSTOO collects, uses, stores and shares personal information when you use our website, apps and related services (the “Platform”).

By using MSTOO you consent to this Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Platform.

1. Information we collect

  • Account data: name, phone number, email, password or OTP, profile photo and language preference.
  • Location data: the address, coordinates and service zone you choose, and (if you allow it) your device location so we can show nearby ads.
  • Listings and bookings: ads you post, photos, prices, booking dates, addresses, chat messages and booking status.
  • Payments: transaction amounts, method, wallet activity and payment-partner references. Card details are processed by Razorpay or other gateways; MSTOO does not store full card numbers.
  • Device and log data: IP address, browser or app version, device identifiers, crash logs and usage statistics.
  • Support: emails, WhatsApp messages and other correspondence you send us.

2. How we use information

  • Create and manage your account, ads, bookings, wallet, points and subscriptions.
  • Show zone-relevant categories, banners and listings.
  • Process payments, invoices, refunds and payouts.
  • Enable in-app chat, notifications and customer support.
  • Detect fraud, keep the Platform secure and enforce our Terms.
  • Improve the product and, where allowed, send service or promotional messages. You can opt out of marketing emails.

3. Legal bases

We process personal data to perform our contract with you, to comply with law, for legitimate interests such as security and product improvement, and with your consent where required (for example precise device location or marketing).

4. Sharing

We share information with:

  • Other users, to the extent needed for a listing or booking (for example name, listing details, and contact information after a relevant booking step).
  • Payment partners such as Razorpay.
  • Cloud hosting, SMS, email, maps, analytics and customer-support vendors who process data on our instructions.
  • Authorities when required by law or to protect rights, safety and the Platform.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

The website uses cookies and similar storage to keep you signed in, remember your service zone and location, and measure performance. You can control cookies in your browser. Some features will not work if essential cookies are blocked.

6. Retention

We keep account, booking and payment records for as long as your account is active and thereafter as needed for legal, tax, dispute and security purposes. You may request deletion of your account; some records may be retained where the law requires it.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures, including encrypted transport and restricted access to credentials. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

8. Your choices

  • Update profile, addresses and location in your account.
  • Turn off device location in OS settings; you can still pick a location manually.
  • Request access, correction or deletion by emailing support@mstoo.co.in.
  • If you are in India, you may also use rights available under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, as they become applicable.

9. Children

MSTOO is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.

10. International processing

Servers and vendors may process data in India or other countries with appropriate safeguards.

11. Changes

We may update this Policy. The latest version is published on this page with the update date below.
